Writing Haiku

 Writing Haiku is like painting a scene with words. A story of nature or moment in time. Its simplistic lines of 5-7-5 make it all the more challenging and inspiring to write. It is one of my favorite poetry styles.

Roses Awake

Red velvet heads

Spring forth with life safe among

Verde vines and leaves

Hot Summer Day 

Sweltering sunshine

Dry green grass crunch under my feet

And air thick and hot 

 ❤❤❤

Rainbow in the Sky

A heavenly bow

Falling colors curved with light

Red, orange,yellow, green,blue
